Director: Lasse Hallstrom




Lasse Hallstrom was born on the 2nd of June 1946 and is a Swedish film director. He was the director for most of ABBA's music video's making him very well known in the industry. He then went on to direct a film called My life as a dog, which got him a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Director. In total he directed 26 of ABBA's music video's, most of which went on to be massive hits.

This video was made in 1974 and is one of many very well known ABBA songs. This is a showcase video, where the artists are the main focus through out.



This Music video 'Super Trouper' was made in 1980 and was quite advanced in terms of affects at that time.



This song is called 'Fernando' was made in 1976. This video uses a number of slow fades in to shots and goes along at quite a slow passe. This is something you wouldn't see to often in many music video's today.
