My Music Video

Editing Finished

By the end of today's lesson I had finished all my editing of my music video. Next lesson I will be ready to export my video on to DVD.

I have now got footage the whole way though song and I am adding cuts where necessary.
I am now spending most of my time adjusting clips to the right colour' s and playing around with the chroma key on the clips I filmed on green screen.

Editing Continued

Over the last few lessons I have continued with the editing of my music video. I have edited about 60% of my video now and feel confident with all the software I am using.
There are some parts of the video where I have not kept to the storyboards because the shots didn't work as well as planned or there are better clips suited to that part of the song.
I feel that I have enough footage to work with for the rest of the video.

Editing

Over the last few lessons I have started on the editing of my music video. One of the first things I did is to brake down my footage in to groups so that I could easily add what I want to use down on to the time line without having to look through all my footage.
I am working on the first third of the video at the moment. There is a lot of work involved in the first 24 shots because there is a shot for every beat in the song. I am having to adjust the colour on the clips to how I want them to look which is taking longer than I had expected.
There are also some parts of the editing software which I am new to, so I am learning new features as I edit my video.

Today I uploaded all of the footage I filmed for my music video up on to the computer and in to the editing software Final Cut Pro. This took all lesson dew to the amount of footage I needed to upload.
